ApplicantPro is looking to hire a you to represent us in Utah.  

About ApplicantPro:

We are a 10-year old company, with offices in Eagle Mountain & St George Utah, that provides hiring software and services to over 3000 small and mid-sized companies throughout the United States. Our target market is made up of employers with 15 to 2000 employees, who are currently hiring, and have lots of entry and mid-level positions. (nursing homes, credit unions, restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, manufacturing, auto dealers, non-profits, etc.)

Quite simply, if it has to do with hiring, we do it.  More importantly, our goal is to not just help our clients hire, but to help them maximize their hiring results (think higher quantity of qualified applicants while reducing the client's recruiting costs). We post our client's jobs to job boards, provide them with a branded careers portal and online application for their applicants to apply through, provide a robust tracking system to help them organize and manage all of the candidates for their jobs, and even provide screening tools to help them hire the best people (like assessments, video interviews, and background checks).

 

A day in the life as the Sales Development Representative:

Your job will to be the face of ApplicantPro in Utah.  Our primary buyer is the HR manager (or business owner) at smaller companies (20 to 1000 employees).  These awesome HR people hang out at various HR events throughout the state put on by SHRM, as well as at industry assocation events, and well... in their offices at the work.  Your job will be to go to 8 to 10 events per month (usually lunches), as well as put on at least 1 hiring workshop event per month, to network and build relationships with these prospective customers.  You will also drop in on businesses who are hiring, and even receive leads that were generated by our marketing team through email campaigns.

When you find someone who needs help with their hiring process, you will do an initial demo, and then schedule at time for them to see a live demo with one of our product experts.  If they love the product demo (which most do) you'll offer them a free trial of our system, and then help them test it out and see results. At the end of the trial, most clients will ask to buy the product, and that is where you make your commission!

This is not a "hard sale" job, if you help companies use our product, they will love it and literally beg to buy from you.

What you need to be qualified for this job:

Well this is a tough one... We don't expect you to have previous software sales experience, in fact we'd almost prefer that you don't. What we want is someone who is a natural networker that has no fear of meeting new people.  We can teach you everything else.  Previous experience with Mary Kay, Luluroe, BestBuy, or any other networking or trade show marketing job would be helpful. You should have a decent understanding and ability to use a computer, but we will train someone with right attitude and personality.
