A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONTENT WRITER / EMAIL MARKETER

Marketing is vital to our organization because we believe our content will make a bigger impact on the world than even our product. You will be an integral part of this talented team making this happen.

As a Content Writer / Email Marketer, you use your writing and marketing skills to educate and attract prospective clients to our hiring products and services. Enjoying the best of both worlds, you spend part of your time interacting with colleagues at the office and part of your time working from home. Each week, you send emails with fresh content to our list of prospects, always refining your process to maximize opens, clicks, and conversions. Following our philosophy of human-to-human communication, your email tone will be as if you are writing a note to a friend. You will know you have succeeded when the prospect feels like the email was written especially for them.

Using brand guidelines and existing materials, as well as input from the team, you produce compelling written content for sales collateral to support our four sales teams and anyone else across our company that could use your help. You also produce high-quality web content that is optimized for SEO and conversion. Whether for emails, landing pages, or articles, you've got to love expressing yourself through the written word and get a great deal of satisfaction out of generating interest in what we have to offer.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONTENT WRITER / EMAIL MARKETER

  • Minimum of 2 years of writing experience
  • Knowledge of B2B email marketing optimization is helpful but not required (sends to opens, opens to clicks, clicks to conversions)
  • Ability to provide writing samples during the hiring process
  • Passion for thought leadership, writing, and marketing

The ability to provide email success metrics will be helpful, and working knowledge of Hubspot will be a definite plus! Are you a fast learner who is open to new concepts? Can you work collaboratively? Are you able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage your time effectively? Are you self-motivated and goal-oriented? If so, then you might just be perfect for this Content Writer / Email Marketer position!

REMOTE SCHEDULE

This is a part-time to full-time (30+ hours per week) remote position. While there will be flexibility, the majority of hours should be worked between 9 am to 5 pm.
