We are looking for a Regional Business Development Manager for our Employee Benefits business.

If you have experience building & expanding relationships with brokers, and you are looking for the ability to work independently building & expanding a book of business in your own region while being supported by an amazing marketing & services team... this might be the job you've been looking for.

At the end of the day, business is all about building & strengthening relationships. As a Business Development Manager, you will split your time between acquiring new brokers to add to your team, and supporting your existing relationships (including the ones that we will assign to you on day one).

Your goal & success will hinge on your ability to help the brokers in your region to be successful at acquiring & servicing their insurance clients.

Some of your days will be heavy on prospecting for new brokers, including phone, email, and face-to-face conversations.

Other days you will focus on your existing relationships, helping them conduct demos, training, and sales logistics.

At the end of the day, you will be the captain of your ship, but your success will be tied to your ability to not just build connections with the brokers, but to help them successfully expand their own book of insurance business.


While you will be heavily supported by our teams in our various regional & corporate offices, you'll spend your time between your home office and the offices of the brokers that you are building & expanding our relationship within the New York area.


  • Knowledge of the Employment Insurance World
  • Previous business development success
  • Amazing prospecting & relationship building skills
  • Ability to consistently deepen relationships
  • Strong communication skills... including written & verbal.
  • Previous Sales Experience
