ApplicantPro is hiring full-time/part-time (30+ hours per week) hiring consultant to work out of our Washington, UT location. This position pays 14+/hr, depending on experience, and offers awesome benefits and perks (like free lunch, massages and even house cleaning). You can even earn the opportunity to work partly from home after 90 days! 


Founded 11 years ago, ApplicantPro provides hiring software and services to over 4000 small and mid-sized companies throughout the United States. We have grown to employ over 90 employees and have offices in both Eagle Mountain, UT and St. George, UT.

As a hiring consultant on our award-winning support team, you are a lifeline for the overworked HR professionals and hiring managers that we serve. We like to use "hiring consultant" to refer to this position because helping our clients improve their hiring process is what we're all about. But, really, this position is all about customer service!

Your positive, can-do attitude is why you excel in this position. It's your job to know a little about everything at ApplicantPro. You and your fellow support team members are the face of our company for most of our clients. You are quite literally the main reason they love using our software! Whether they're experiencing a glitch, aren't sure how to do something, need to know if our software has a particular capability, want to sort out a billing issue, or need advice on how to get more applicants, they can count on you!

You answer the phone, participate in chats, and respond to emails that are funneled into our customer service system. You make sure that no one has to wait very long for a response. Sometimes it's as simple as answering their question or doing a routine task for them that you've done many times before. Other times you need to use your amazing troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to get to the bottom of something more complex. If you can't help them yourself, you find out who can! It's a good thing that you love a good challenge. The key to your success is that you never give up or leave anyone hanging. You are all about following through and following up.

Most of our clients are appreciative of our exceptional customer support, but occasionally one of them is frustrated. Often it is more about their job and their day than anything. But, whatever the reason, you handle it like a pro. You don't take things personally, but do your best to empathize and see things from their point of view. Your patience and concern can usually turn things around! You love the variety and challenge inherent in your job and enjoy getting to interact with different people from all over the country. You feel great about making our clients' jobs easier for them.


Don't worry if you don't know anything about hiring or applicant tracking software, we can train you on that stuff! What we need from you are your exceptional customer service and above average computer skills. Would you be committed to going above and beyond in supporting our clients' needs? Are you friendly? Do you enjoy chatting and find it easy to make connections with people? Are you good at putting yourself in the shoes of others? Do you learn and retain new information easily? Do you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal? Are you an especially good listener? Are you detail-oriented and determined to follow things through to the end? Are you flexible and able to adapt to changes? Do you work well as part of a team? If so, then you just might be perfect for this position. 


This position has flexible working hours from part time to full time, 30-40 hours a week.  Our office is open Monday thru Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm, so while we can be a bit flexible with your schedule, your work hours will fit within these times.
