We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to make our outside sales reps lives easier (and more effective) here at ApplicantPro. This is an opportunity that we have reserved for someone that wishes to use their superpowers (mainly data entry & organization) to make day-to-day sales operations run smoothly here in our Washington Utah office. If you have great organizational skills and meet the other qualifications, then we would love to get to know you.
But enough about you.
We are a 10-year old company, with offices in Eagle Mountain & St George Utah, that provides hiring software and services to over 4000 small and mid-sized companies throughout the United States. Quite simply, if it has to do with hiring, we do it. More importantly, our goal is to not just help our clients hire, but to help them maximize their hiring results (think higher quantity of qualified applicants while reducing the client's recruiting costs).
We post our client's jobs to job boards, provide them with a branded careers portal and online application for their applicants to apply through, provide a robust tracking system to help them organize and manage all of the candidates for their jobs, and even provide screening tools to help them hire the best person (like assessments, video interviews, and background checks).
We are a rapidly growing, bootstrapped company (one of the 5000 fastest growing companies in the US for 4 years in a row). What that means is that we are trying to grow as fast as possible without using the money of outside investors to do it. This requires us to be scrappy and creative in how we drive growth.
A day in the life as an Administrative Assistant:
As our Administrative Assistant you will assist our growing team of Outside Sales Reps. The outside sales reps jobs is to be out and about networking at local events, dropping by businesses who are hiring, and performing demos of our software both over the phone and in person. Unfortuately, while these sales reps are super outgoing and engaging in person, they sometimes aren't so good at organizing their leads and making sure that the whole process behind the scenes is running smoothly. Let's face it, sometimes our reps and their computers just don't get along.
That's where you come in. Your organizational skills, and attention to detail, will aid you in your daily quests. You will be everyone's superhero here at the office as you send out emails, clean up the leads in our database, schedule events for our reps to go to, enter new clients into our system, coordinate with support to get their sites setup, doing Internet research, and pretty much any other detail driven task that sales might throw at you. THIS IS NOT A SALES JOB.... YOU WON'T BE MAKING COLD CALLS! That said, you might have to hop on the phone once in a while to coordinate an event for a rep to attend, but you aren't going to be doing sales of any type.
You will also come to know the great people that make us who we are and the unique culture that makes work feel like something WAY LESS TERRIBLE! This is position will open up to many opportunities for advancement and growth as well, to help you have a stable career, not merely a job.
What you need to be qualified for this job:
To get this job you will need to be detail oriented and have great organizational skills. Experience and/or education in communications, marketing, sales, or business would be a great start, but they aren't required. You should be great on a computer with fast typing abilities and more importantly be able to get online and figure out how to get things done. The key here is your ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while making sure all of the operational and administrative needs of the sales reps are met. If this sounds like something you are interested in, fill out our quick online application.
